We will be in the path of the Solar Eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017. While Aneta will experience a partial eclipse, there are eye safety concerns nonetheless. To watch the eclipse safely, you will need “solar eclipse glasses” or you can make a simple pinhole camera to protect your eyes.
I’m posting a link on the page to help you make viewing the eclipse safer for yourself and others. https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/box-pinhole-projector.html
It’s a great project to make with your kids who will learn some simple science while viewing a rare phenomenon.
